Features and Benefits:
- IMPROVED AIRFLOW: Quick Click commercial utilises either a 5m or 9m hose measuring 38mm ID which delivers higher airflow to the power tool from the vacuum which reduces clogs and blockages
- SIZE & COMPATIBILITY: Three adaptors to fit to the dust shroud of power tools like sanders, miter saws, circular saws, and similar tools with male and female dust collection ports. Inner diameters: 25mm, 32mm, 38mm | Outer diameters: 35mm, 42mm, 48mm
- SOFT MOULDED: The adaptors are moulded in a soft thermoplastic elastomer which permits them to fit male dust shrouds ports up to 20% larger than the identified diameter with crush rings on the interior of the adaptors ensuring a positive firm hold on the tools during use
- VACUUM EXTRACTOR COMPATIBILITY: Adaptors included are male 58mm and 67mm for compatible push fit female intets on the vacuum/extractor which are typical of many shop vacuum and private label brands such as Festool, Bosch, Fein, Makita, Titan, and many more
- DUST SHROUD: Mount the gulper nozzle using the 58mm male adaptor included to provide a passive dust collection shroud for tools lacking a dust shroud (such as Dremel’s or band saws)
Frequently Asked Questions:
Why would I want to use a 38mm Quick Click hose and adaptor set?
A 38mm inner diameter hose has 44% more cross sectional area than a 32mm inner diameter hose meaning higher airflow delivered to the power tool from your vacuum, reducing the risk of clogs and blockages.
What is the difference between Quick Click Commercial and previous Quick Click hoses?
Quick Click predominantly utilises and has been compatible with 32mm ID vacuum hose for smaller vacuum cleaners and extractors. Quick Click commercial as stated uses a 38mm hose and requires a push fit system for connection to the swivel hose cuff.
What is the trade off in going to a larger diameter hose?
You are trading significantly higher airflow for a modest change in flexibility. The 38mm hose has a bend radius approaching 4.00″ as compared to a 32mm hose bend radius of 3.00″.
When would a 38mm Quick Click solution might be most beneficial?
When you are using multiple tools drawing from the same vacuum the larger diameter will optimise the airflow. It can also benefit when the debris being collected is larger in size (such as from planer thicknessers) helping to convey the debris back to the vacuum. It should also be considered when working in commercial environments like concrete coring, tile cutting, grinding, or counter top surface cutting.
Compatibility:
